Freshman Nikole Lisovyy continued her year long dominance of opponents over the weekend. Lisovyy earned a first round bye on Friday by winning the BAL Championships last week. In the quarterfinals she defeated Nina Dzidzic of Merion Mercy 6-0 6-1 to move into the semi-finals. During the semis she won in convincingly again 6-0 6-1 over Larissa Borys of New Hope Solebury. On Saturday 10/6 Nikole faced a familiar opponent, Brette Fouch of Delco Christian. Nikole defeated Fouch last week in the BAL finals and again defeated Fouch in the finals today to earn district gold. She will advance to states in November.
