Back in March when masks, gloves and hand sanitizers were scarce in stores and online across the country, a couple from Lower Makefield decided to step up to help protect their community. Several days a week Jayme and David Lynde stand outside of Mail ’n’ More in Lower Makefield to provide three free cotton masks to anyone who arrives.
A dozen seniors from Bucks and Eastern Montgomery county high schools have been awarded $2,500 National Merit Scholarships by the National Merit Scholarship Corp.. Winners include three seniors from the Council Rock School District and two from Central Bucks.
