On February 7, 2019, the Murray Ave School wrestling team competed in the MCAA Middle School League Championship at Keith Valley Middle School. The MCAA Championship was the final tournament of the season for our wrestlers. 12 of our Lions participated in the tournament, with 5 wrestlers earning medals. In the 100lbs and 130lbs bracket students Garrett Bostock and Carter Keegan took 4th place. In the 85lbs and 145lbs division students Abdullah Fahham and Michael Schmidt took 3rd place. In the 115lbs division, 8th grade student, Alex Kebuz took home a gold medal finishing 1st place. Congratulations to all of our wrestlers and Coach Giordano and Coach Small on a successful season.
