The Lower Moreland baseball team managed through a push by Valley Forge Military Academy in the fifth inning where the Lions coughed up three runs, but still won 13-3 on Monday. Valley Forge Military Academy's big inning was driven by doubles by Sehoon Byun and Parker Moore and a single by Joey Ball.
The Lions offense got going early in the first inning, when an error scored one run.
The Lions tallied six runs in the third inning. Emmitt Cousins, Jack Doneker, John Davies, Kody Levine, and Kenny Wieczorek each drove in runs during the inning.
Connor Duddy was the winning pitcher for LM. He surrendered three runs on ten hits over six innings, striking out five and walking zero.
The Lions will be back in action Wednesday at Calvary Christian School. Game will be at Somerton Youth Complex.
