The Lower Moreland Lions lacrosse team fought hard but couldn’t come out with the W at home against Neshaminy on Tuesday afternoon. The girls were up at half-time but couldn’t shut down Neshaminy’s attack by the end of the second half, coming up short 9-7.
It was a true team effort with four goals being scored by sophomore Paige Malpezzi, two goals by junior Macy Morozin, and one by senior Bianca Miriello. Sophomore Maggie McGarry also notched one assist, and freshman Emily Fee made eight saves in net.
The JV girls also played well, losing 5-2, with goals scored by freshmen Loren Bowles and Sam Moshinski. Senior Elexa Sauls had 8 saves.
Come check out the girls tomorrow afternoon on the turf at 3:30 as they host Conwell-Egan and look for their first win.
