The Lower Moreland girls basketball team faced off versus Council Rock North in the opening round of the Lower Merion Tip-Off Tournament. The team held a 13-10 lead after the first quarter and went into the half tied at 17. In the second half Council Rock North pulled away and was able to move onto the finals of the tip off tourney. The Lions were led by Jr. Phoebe Lynch who scored 12 points. The girls will look to bounce back versus Chester at 5:30 on Saturday evening.
