The team competed in two meets this week, at Abington on Wednesday and Shippensburg Saturday.
At the Abington meet, the team placed in the top 5 in 17 events. The boys were lead by Andrew Gonzales and Andrew Buss who both placed 1st in their events. Andrew Gonzales won the Javelin and Andrew Buss won the triple jump, both with personal best. Dan Maloney placed 2nd in the 110HH with a personal best, Shane Cohen finished 4th in the 1600m. The boys 4X1 and 4X4 placed 3rd at the event.
At the Shippensburg Invitational, The boys team placed 15th overall out of 45 AAA teams, and placed in 4 events. Dan Maloney ran a PB in the 110HH to finish 2nd, Shane Cohen placed 4th in the 800, the 4X8 finished 5th, and the 4X4 finished the day by placing 7th. Andrew Buss ran PR in the 400, and the 4X1 ran their fastest time of the season.
Overall it was a great week of results. The boys will compete will be home vs. Calvary Christian and Faith Christian on Tuesday and then at the Penn Relays this weekend.
