Congratulations to the girls soccer team for their well deserved 2-0 victory against Faith Christian Academy. 

During the first half, the Lions dominated the field with many offensive opportunities, but had trouble finding the back of the net. The game remained scoreless until Payton Lennon hit a near post goal assisted by Sofia O'Brien giving the Lions a 1-0 lead.  The team fought hard to keep the 1 goal lead until the end of the first half. 

The second half started out strong with the Lions again dominating the field. Goalie Arlene Singh had steady hands and aggressively grabbed all balls that came her way, while defenders Destiny Boedeker, Amelia Brown, Finola Winters and Madison Sahl shut down any Faith Christian attack. Olivia Linus was a key player controlling the middle of the field both defensively and offensively, with the help of Valentina Sellechia, Morgan Pennisi and Siri Hellenbrand. This team support gave Demmi Fox the opportunity to pad the lead and move the Lions to a 2-0 score and the win.

It was a well fought game, and with team work and persistency, The Lady Lions enjoyed another team victory. Two games, two wins, two shutouts. The team is excited and ready to take on Upper Moreland this upcoming week.
