What a way to start the 2018 Soccer Season!

Kicking off the season the right way, the Murray Avenue girls dominated the field against their opponent, Calvary Christian, with a 5-0 victory.

Valentina got the scoring started with a near post goal within the first couple of minutes of the game. Not long after, Payton found the net giving the Lions a 2-0 lead at half team.

The second half got off to a fast start with Demmi (2) and Olivia both striking the net with unstoppable goals. Supporting our goal scores were, Morgan, Sofia, Leah, Siri, Christiana, Tish and Avia.

The Lady Lions defense dominated, helping our goal keeper, Arlene, earn a shutout. Destiny, Finola, Amelia, Madison, Maya, Anna and Lilly wouldn't let anything past them protecting their net. 

Everyone on the field contributed to the teams first victory, and they are ready to keep working hard. This win was a total team effort.
