In the first scrimmage of the 2017 season, Lower Moreland runners ran the two fastest times ever recorded in August. Junior Shayne Cohen set a new course record by a Lower Moreland athlete with a time of 18:10. Connor McFadden ran a time of 20:22 as well. The Lions ran into a strong and deep Wissahickon team in the scrimmage though.
The Lions look to bounce back this Wednesday with a match at the George School, Wednesday @ 4:00.
