Lower Moreland Lions Varsity defeated Church Farm 15-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Matt Haggerty induced a groundout from Sam Barr to finish off the game.

Max Cousins led Lower Moreland  to victory by driving in four runs.  He went 3-for-3 at the plate.  Cousins drove in runs on a double in the third.

In the first inning, Lower Moreland got their offense started when an error scored two runs. The Lions notched ten runs in the second inning.  Lower Morelands second inning was led by singles by Haggerty, Coleman Peppelman, John Davies, and Tim Kennedy, sacrifice flies by Kenny Wieczorek, a walk by Jack Donaker, and a double by Emmitt Cousins.

Davies got the start for Lower Moreland . He lasted two innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out three and walking zero.

Lower Moreland had 14 hits in the game.  Kennedy, Cousins, Cousins, and Davies all managed multiple hits for the Lions  Cousins and Kennedy each collected three hits. 

Lower Moreland will travel to Dock on Thursday.
