On Thursday March 15th a number of people including coaches,teammates, family, friends & teachers came to show support for Jamie Mayer as she signed a letter of intent with Ursinus College to play field hockey and run track beginning in the fall of 2018. 

Jamie has been a 4 year Varsity letter winner in both Field Hockey and Track during her time here at Lower Moreland. On the Field Hockey field Jamie was a four year varsity starter and was a three year captain for the Lower Moreland High School Field Hockey Team. Voted as a four time All-League Selection, her 80 career goals and 46 career assists has made her both a team and league standout.  Jamie is ranked 3rd in career goals and 3rd for career assists in the Lower Moreland Field Hockey record books.  She was also the senior scoring leader with 46 goals this season.

On the track she will look to qualify for the Penn Relays for the fourth consecutive year. She was part of the league champion 4x400 relay team the last three years, and also was league champion as a junior in the 800 and 4x800 relay in helping lead her team to the BAL League Championship. This year during the winter she qualified for the Meet of Champions in the 400m. 

We wish Jamie nothing but the best in the future, as she has left a lasting impact on the Lower Moreland Athletic programs.
