Led by eight fantastic seniors, Lower Moreland Field Hockey prevailed under the lights on Wednesday, defeating Plumstead Christian 6-0 and improving their record to 12-3. It was a group effort, with four different players scoring, starting with a goal by Gianna enafra off an assist by Jamie Mayer in the first 2 and a half minutes of play. Less than two minutes later, Linda Tang scored off an assist from Lindsay Graham. The next three goals were scored by Jamie Mayer, all unassisted, who surpassed the record for goals in a season, previously held by 2015 LM graduate, Lindsay Boerner, with 36. Jamie is now at 38 goals for the 2017 season. During the second half, LM looked to work on weaknesses, such as transferring play to the right side and improving communication. The final goal of the night was scored by Joy HOng off an assist by J. Mayer in the last 6 minutes. 

The girls will finish their regular season next week, with games against Bristol, Morrisvile, and Upper Moreland. They will also find out their district fate next week.
