Shane Cohen won the AA Individual District Championship on Friday afternoon at Lehigh University. Shane finished with a time of 16:42 which was 1 second faster than the second place opponent. According to Coach Rapson, "Shane and the Upper Perk runner were neck and neck with 400 yards to go. That is when Shane put it into the next gear and pulled away. What an accomplishment for a first year runner." Congratulations to Shane Cohen as he advances to the State Championship race next Saturday in Hershey.
Not to be lost, Connor McFadden also placed 10th in the race, John Davies 16th and Ben Zonshayn 20th for the Lions. Lower Moreland earned 3rd place in the team event, which concludes their season. WIth 0 seniors on the roster the Lions look to be a strong contender next year in both the league and district.
